Critiques:

PD (1) 1 Corin & Camm’s Nazads Nom De Plume. Well balanced 11 mth old wheaten with masculine wedge shaped head developing well. Muzzle slightly shorter than skull. Expressive dark eyes and well placed erect ears. Good mouth and dentition. Slight arch to neck flowing into sloping shoulders. Moderate angulation to front and rear. Slight tuck up. High set tail. Moved true coming and going. BP.
PGD (2,1a) 1 Langford’s Frostisen Zeffer. 2 year old shaded wheaten of good substance. Masculine head of good proportions. Alert dark brown eyes. Mobile erect ears. Chest deep with good spring of rib and relatively short coupled. Balanced angulation to front and rear quarters. Moved lightly but not straight coming and going.
OD (6) 1 Deuchar’s Ch Rikarlo Gable JW L6EX. Good outline to this compactly built and balanced mature 5½ yr old. Masculine head, tapering, lean and of correct proportions. Dark expressive eyes and good ear carriage. Neck of moderate length flowing into sloping shoulders. Chest deep with good spring of rib. Level topline and good set of tail curled tightly and carried well. Strong rear quarters with slight angulation. Light and active in movement.
BD & BOB. 2 Shorer-Wheeler’s Ch Koromandel Tusen Takk JW. Another quality exhibit leaving little to choose between 1st and 2nd. Good proportions to head with lively dark brown eyes. Well placed erect ears. Neck of medium length. Balanced angulation to front and rear quarters. Strong body with back straight and short coupling. Elbows tightly placed. Movement true with good stride.
RBD. 3 Dosson’s Kligenthal Bran Mak Morn. VB (1) 1 Crocker’s Knytshall Noor Ul Ain. Well balanced 8½ yr black of correct proportions. Feminine head with dark brown expressive eyes. High set erect ears. Moderate angulation to front and rear quarters. Chest deep and loin firm. Topline level. Well placed tail. Moved straight and lightly without exaggeration. BV.
PB (2,1a) 1 Crocker’s Leggatts Superstition. Just 6 mths old and very much a baby. Pleasing proportions to head with dark brown eyes and well placed erect ears. Neck of moderate length and slightly arched. Sufficient bone for her age. High set curled tail. Slight excess of rear angulation at this stage. Moved well once settled.
JB (1) 1 Strong’s Draccus I Have A Dream. Very active 1 yr. old black. Compact with feminine head of correct proportions. Expressive dark eyes. Good carriage to mobile ears. Neck of medium length. Sloping shoulders with elbows tight. Sufficient depth to chest. Topline level. Moved OK once settled.
PGB (4) 1 Guillod, Rees & Guillod-Rees Draccus Obsidian At Bucamereru. 2½ yr old black of good substance. Almost square in outline with well proportioned feminine head. Dark brown eyes. Well placed erect ears. Sufficient angulation to front and rear quarters. Slightly long in loin but acceptable. Tail well curled. Light in movement. 2 Crocker’s Leggatts Voulez Vous. Good size to this 5½ yr old black. Square in appearance and light in bone. Good proportions to head with good ear carriage and expressive eyes. Sloping shoulders, straight in back and moderate rear angulation. True in movement. 3 Crocker’s Leggatts Superstition.
OB (6) 1 Patrick & Ashman’s Ch Tapui Starla. Well balanced 3 yr. old shaded wheaton. Wedge shaped head of correct proportions with marked stop, tight lips and black nose. Dark brown eyes with lively expression. High placed erect ears. Clean neck of medium length flowing into sloping shoulders with moderate angulation to upper arm, chest deep and topline level. Short coupled with slight angulation to to strong hindquarters. Double curled tail. Steady in movement with good stride.
BB. 2 Strong’s Ch Leggatts Dancing Queen At Draccus. Another well proportioned exhibit. This 5½ yr. old. was not only energetic but vociferous with it. Pleasing well shaped feminine head with expressive dark brown eyes and mobile erect ears. Slight arch to neck and good lay of shoulders. Chest deep and well ribbed. Straight in back with good tail carriage. Strong hindquarters. Good feet. Moved well without exaggeration. RBB. 3 Taylor, Taylor, Taylor & Frost-Tredwell’s Frostisen Blakk Zitter.
