Critiques:
JD (2) 1. Butterworth’s Kligenthal Einar. Well built wheaten lad of just over twelve months. Pleasing wedge shaped head, with well used ears. Carries a good topline and is well angulated both ends. Moving well for a youngster. Reserve Best Dog. 2. Cobb, Cobb & Kent’s Leggatts Dakota at Knytshall. Lighter built black dog, just coming up to a year old. Well balanced head, good neck into a decent topline, sufficient angulation. Rather unsettled and not making the most of himself. Best Puppy.
OD (1) 1. Shorer-Wheeler’s Ch Koromandel Tusen Takk JW (AI). Very smart two year old wheaten, he has a super head with a lovely expression, dark eyes and well used ears. Moderate neck, straight front and compact body with an excellent topline held on th ove. He has a well carried tail and moves with a good length of stride. Best Dog and Best of Breed.
JB (1) 1. Irvine’s Blackcombe Bodil at Tapui (Imp Aus). Seventeen month old wheaten bitch, with a pretty head and expression. Good overall outline with a decent topline, excellent rear angulation and moved out well. Best Bitch and Best Junior.
OB (5, 1) 1. Blackcombe Bodil at Tapui (Imp AUS). 2. Sturtmoor’s Ffascination with Koromandel. Stockier in build than (1), nice head but found her muzzle a tad short, good topline and decent enough angulation. Moved well but had to give way to the younger girl today. Reserve Best Bitch. 3. Patrick & Ashman’s Tapui Starla.
VB (1) 1. Shorer-Wheeler’s Ch Maidofcopper for Koromandel JW (Imp FIN). Lovely bitch not looking her eight years, good head and expression with well used ears. Compact body and good angulation, carrying a little too much condition and she paid the price. Best Veteran.
