Results & Critiques:

OD (3,0) 1. Smith’s Ch Arnscroft Never Say Di. 3 yr old wheaten out of a larger mould but a quality male who was so good to go over. I thought him such a good type and he is beautifully balanced with medium length of neck, firm topline, good depth to chest, ribbed well back, nice short loin and curled tail set on high. Most attractive head with good breadth between his correctly set ears, dark expressive eyes, moderate length of muzzle, excellent pigmentation and correct scissor bite. Soundly constructed he stands nice and straight in front on correct oval-shaped feet, elbows held close to the body and muscular hindquarters with moderate turn of stifle. Moving out well on the go around, using himself as he goes and so very well handled. Best Dog & BOB. 2. Stonton’s Ch Arnscroft In Di Ana Jack. 2 yr old wheaten and another of top quality and unlucky to come up against the winner. Lightly built and presenting the outline I was looking for with moderately arched neck of correct length, firm level topline, good depth to brisket and ribs extending well back, short muscular loin and tail set on nice and high. Good angles both front and rear, elbows held close to the body, straight forelegs, correct feet and firm hindquarters which are parallel when seen from behind. Wedge-shaped head with good eye and ear, moderate length of muzzle, nice dark pigment and correct dentition. Moving freely with good ground coverage. Reserve Best Dog. 3. Deuchar’s Ch/Bel Ch Tonylynn’s Charles Lafitte AW(P) R2EX.

OB (3,0) 1. Rumsey’s Ch Arnscroft Di Nah May. 6 yr old wheaten and another who appealed for her correct type, balance and sound construction. Feminine head and expression with desired wedge-shape, nice breadth between her correctly set ears, moderate length of muzzle, nice dark eyes and correct scissor bite. She stands so well naturally with straight, lightly boned forelegs and firm hindquarters with moderate turn of stifle. Neck of medium length, level topline, chest of good depth, nice short loin and curled tail set on high. Moving so well on the go around with excellent self carriage, nice and firm going away and pretty good coming towards. Feet not quite as good as 2nd. Best Bitch. 2. Stonton’s Trelowen Andrea AW(S). 7 yr old wheaten who again pleased for overall type and presented a typical outline for the breed with moderately arched neck of correct length, short level back, pleasing rib, good depth to chest, short couplings and curled tail set on high. Nicely proportioned head with good eye and ear but preferred overall expression of the winner. Stands nice and straight in front on correct oval-shaped feet, elbows held close to the body and firm rear with moderate angulation. Free, light action with good length of stride and another handled to advantage. Reserve Best Bitch. 3. Smith & Deuchar’s Kimura’s Tyra at Arnscroft
