A small entry but what a sporting set of exhibitors, applauding all winners and all happy to see a youngster crowned on the day. JD 2(0) Difficult choice, 2 very different dogs. 1. Kent/Cobb’s Knytshall Ragged Robin. 14 months, black, he is top size for me but scored here in leg length and coat on the day, he has a masculine head, eyes could be a shade darker, good rear, can firm up in front. 2. Denham-Horton’s Tapui Haraldsson at Jjavacobe. 14 months, smaller dog who is short in the back and has good head and ears, not in his best coat, I would prefer more leg for balance, brisk stride on the move, these two can change places and I will be interested to see how they mature. OD 1(0) 1. Shorer-Wheeler’s Ch. Koromandel Tusen Takk JW ShCEx OSW (AI). 4 year old tall dog of lovely shape, excellent head, eyes and ears, excellent tail, good length of leg, his front movement can be cleaner, I’d prefer a little less of him all round, RDCC, a real showman presented to make a striking picture. VD 1(0) 1. Kent/Cobb’s Ch. Koromandel Best Served Cold at Knytshall. 8 years old, correct for size but could have a little more leg for balance, short back and good tail, very good head and eyes, full of breed type and a stand out winner for me today, DCC, BV & BOB.
JB 1(0) 1. Wheeler’s Knytshall Thistle Ink It Up Koromandel. 15 months, black of standard size with good leg length and with short back and good tail, not in her best coat, head of good proportions with correct ears, eyes could be a shade darker, a real teenager at the moment but the frame and type are there as foundations for the future. LB 2(0) 1. Irvine’s Tapui Herja at Blackcombe. 15 month wheaten who could have a little more height in the leg for perfect balance but she has a beautiful head and super dark almond shaped eyes, sound movement, dense close lying coat, won BCC today which made her a Champion. 2. Rees/Guillod’s Draccus Obsidian at Bucamereru. 4 year old black who is too long for balance, good head shape, needs a little more schooling with her young handler to get the best out of her. VB 1(0) 1. Norman’s Ch. Arnscroft Delilah at Veekay. 8 year old of lovely type carrying maximum body which just detracts from her balance, beautiful head, eye and ears, in good coat, tail set could be a little higher but she has beautiful quality to her, went soundly and carried herself well, RBCC.
