Results & Critiques:

A real pleasure to judge this breed, friendly exhibitors that showed genuine pleasure in other peoples wins, all congratulating each other, and the quality was certainly present.

JD (2) 1 Shorer-Wheeler’s Koromandel TUsen Takk (AI). Res BOS. Top class, such a typical profile, real showman, handled to perfection, masculine head, correct expression, excellent bite, good eye colour, excellent reach of neck, straight front, deep chest and tight elbows, balanced in body, correct tail set, carried well, free easy action, covers the ground with little effort showing real promise. 2 Irving, Irvine & Gillies’ Tapullets BLaze. Smaller, excellent breed type, head appealed, excellent bite, strong neck, clean front, shapely body, moves freely but could just be a little stronger going away, even so, one I liked.

OD (1) 1 & BOS, CObb, Cobb & Kent’s Ch Koromandel Best Served Cold At Knytshall. At his best, this 5 year old looked the champion he is, all the breed points you would want in a champion, in super condition and so good on the move, loved that masculine head, excellent bite, good eye colour, typical expression, the best of necks, straight front, typical profile. A pleasure for me to put hands on.

VD (1) 1 Cobb, Cobb & Kent’s Knytshall Diamond Ted. 9-plus and in wonderful form, looking nothing like it. Masculine head, excellent bite, dark eye, straight front with lovely bone and feet, correct profile, excellent tail set, well carried, deep chest, comes to you true and shows power going away even at his age, loved him.

JB (1) 1, BOB & BJIB, Patrick & Ashman’s Tapul Staria. Wow, she really did appeal to my eye, not a big girl, very feminine, the ultermate show dog, never once taking her eye off her clever handler that she obviously adores, liked her from nose to bum, everything just felt and looked right, easy free movement, sure to have a future in the breed. YB 1 Repeat.

PGB (2) 1 Repeat. 2 Shorer-Wheeler’s Sturtmoors Ffascination With Koromandel. Yet another very smartlady, slightly different in breed type from my winner, but lots of breed points. Liked the head, excellent bite, shapely body, good backline and well set on tail. Easy free movement.
vb (2) 1 & Res BOS, Shorer-Wheeler’s Ch Maidofcoper For Koromandel JW (Imp Fin). Impressive girl to put hands on and so correct on the stack, looked a champion, with everything to like. Sound easy action, I was so impressed I later gave her third in the very strong Veteran Group which contained dogs I have given CCs and BIS awards, that’s how impressed I was with her. 2 Irvine’s Ch Kimuiras Vera With Tapui (Imp Nor). Pushing all the way, another top class champion with easy free action, again in top class condition. I would just like to add thank you for giving me the chance to put my hands on three champions in this entry of eight Buhunds.
