CRITIQUES:

LD/B. 1st Glaholms’ Sturtmoor’s Dream Maker at Gazenorth, 2yrs wheaten bitch, absolutely typical, so pretty in the head with a dark eye, neat ears and alert expression, tidy all through with moderate angles, moderate bone giving that impression of lightness, movement clean enough and enthusiastic, showed well to beat her dam for the BB today. 2. Lamberts’ Sturtmoor Destiny’s Day, black male, litter brother to my winner and with many of the same qualities, albeit in a bigger frame. Kind, beautifully balanced head, perfect amount of bone, good return of upper arm to give a nice outline and forechest, well handled. RBD. 3. Bethells’ Zodiacs Featuring Fredrik at Taevas of Minforst (Imp USA).

OD/B. 1. Lamberts’ Ch Svartkonge Av Sturtmoor (Imp Nor) JW ShCM, 4yrs black male, a dog I have always admired from the ringside and it was a pleasure to judge him today. He has a lovely head and expression, a fabulous front, with just the right amount of bone and super neat feet, short strong ribcage, tail bang on top and well curled, moved out beautifully, really pleased to see him shortlisted in the Group. 2. Vines’ Ch Ailort Highlander At Parvodene JW ShCM, 9yrs rich wheaten male in the best of condition, and he just shows his heart out for his handler. Correct bone, love his colour, strong through the body, tail set well, would prefer a tighter curl, good in the rear, needs a tad better return of upper arm but a really charming chap, Best Veteran, shame he couldn’t stay for the group. 3. Ch Bernegardens Reve Enke Av Sturtmoor (Imp Nor) a lovely 6yr light wheaten bitch, who chose to play the clown today, so had to settle for RBB behind her daughter. Her handler put in an admirable effort.
