Critiques:
PD 1 Bolton’s Riverhund Kyon Canadian Mountie avec Rikarlo Very promising 6 month old that should do well as he develops with time. Well defined in head with correct wedged appearance, dark expressive eyes and high set ears that he uses well. Enough length of neck into well constructed forehand supported by straight limbs but feet could be a tad tighter which I’m sure is just an age thing. Well ribbed up and firm in back moderate hind angulation. Sound and true moving. 2 Dosson & Dosson’s Kimura’s Ola Normann 8 month old and another that has the framework to build on with age. Head is coming on at this stage with dark well set eyes and high set ears. Correct dentition and bite. Moderate angulation fore and aft but tends to be a tad 10-2 at the moment but I put that down to age and ribs not fully sprung yet so should improve as he grows on. Easy and true on the move.
JD 1 Bolton’s Riverhund Kyon Canadian Mountie avec Rikarlo PGD 1 Kent, Cobb & Cobb’s Knytshall Ragged Robin 21 month old well constructed under his harsh jacket. Proportionate in head with well set ears and eyes, correct dentition and strength in jaws. Ample depth of chest and spring to ribbing, topline level at all times. Muscular quarters allowing a firm driving action, sound in all directions.
LD 1 Denham-Horton & Horton’s Tapui Haraldsson at Jjavacobe 20 month old full of promise for the future as he matures. Good head to go over, dark expressive eyes, ears set on high and used to his advantage. Strong neck to well angulated front with strong straight limbs. Well let down in chest and sprung in rib, firm level topline thanks in part to his muscular hindquarters. Positive and sound on the move. Shown in full clean jacket. RDCC
OD 1 Shorer-Wheeler’s Ch Koromandel Tusen Takk JW ShCEx OSW Long admired this 4 ¾ year old and today he didn’t disappoint. Super head to handle with my hands moulding round it well. Dark expressive eyes, ears set on high and used to his advantage when called for, complete clean dentition with correct bite. Forehand is as close as you can get for angulation as well as musculature. Deep well filled chest, ample spring to ribbing, topline firm and level at all times whether static or in motion which is where he really shines with a stride that is spot on not only in profile but out and back as well. All this and superb presentation in jacket and overall conditioning to complete the picture meant he couldn’t be denied today. DCC BOB then pleased to watch him take G3 later in the day in strong company. 2 Dosson & Dosson’s Leggatts Part Time Lover 2 ¼ year old that for me needs more time to finish in body. Good head shape and ratios, dark pigmentation all through, mobile ears and strong jaws with correct bite. Moderately angulated front assembly with corresponding quarters giving him a balanced outline stacked up. Sound as they come on the move at all times. Shown in well presented jacket.
VD 1 Kent, Cobb & Cobb’s Ch Koromandel Best Served Cold at Knytshall Rising 9 years old this sturdily built male has a good framework under his taut body but today he was a tad heavier than ideal. Scores well in head, proportionate and strong without being overdone in any way. Muscular neck into well angulated forehand with straight limbs and compact feet. Well ribbed up, topline firm and level standing or on the move where he is clean in footfall from any angle. Presented in full clean jacket of good harsh texture BVIB SBB 1 Glibbery’s Tapui Haldis 21 month old that has everything where it should be in terms of angulation. Strong yet feminine head to handle, dark expressive eyes, ears set high and used to her benefit when called for. Well let down in chest and sprung in rib, topline level and firm, hindquarters strong with moderate angulation. Steady and sound on the move. BSB
PB 1 Denham-Horton’s Riverhund Kyon Where Shall I Wonder to Jjavacobe Just 6 months old this precocious baby has it all there to work with as she grows on. Well balanced in head to body. Dark expressive eyes, high set mobile ears, strong jaws with full clean dentition. ample length of neck, depth of chest and spring of rib for her age. Topline can be a tad soft standing but levels on the move so purely age related. Well defined in quarters to match her front. Shown in full clean jacket. Sound and true on the move once settled. She just needs time to body up then she should do really well. BPIB
LB 1 Bolton’s Gladidegelli Arvejenta for Rikarlo 4 ¾ year old substantially built all through. Good head to handle strong yet feminine in appearance. Dark pigmentation, high set ears she uses to her advantage and correct scissor bite. Deep well filled chest and spring to ribbing. Holds her topline firm and level at all times. Well defined quarters allowing a positive drive and smooth gait. Shown in good harsh jacket. OB 1 Irvine’s Ch Blackcombe Bodil at Tapui 4 year old that was on song today with a surefooted display from start to finish. Strong proportionate head to handle that is so obviously feminine at the same time. Appealing dark eyes, high set ears and correct dentition. Forehand is well angulated and muscled to match her hindquarters and this allowed the smooth efficiency in her movement all coming to rest standing four square with minimal fuss from her handler. Easy to see why she is titled from today’s display. Finished off in excellent coat preparation and body conditioning. BCC 2 Taylor, Taylor, Taylor & Frost-Tredwell’s Frostisen Blakk Zitter 4 year old strong in body without being overdone or coarse in any way. Good head to handle, ears set high and used well, dark expressive eyes, strength in jaws with correct scissor bite. Powerful neck of fair length into well constructed front assembly. Deep chest well ribbed up and firm in back. Hindquarters compliment her front to a “T” allowing an efficient ground covering stride at all times. Put down to the minute in harsh clean jacket.
